Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated: 16 September 2026

This policy explains what personal data SiteFound collects through this website, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have. We aim to keep things simple: we collect only what we need to reply to you and to understand how the site is used.

1. Data we collect directly

When you submit the enquiry form on the homepage, we collect the details you provide: your name, business name, city or area, phone number, email (optional), and your message. We use this solely to reply to your enquiry and to prepare your free audit.

2. Analytics & site usage

We use SiteFound Analytics (analytics.sitefound.ai), a privacy-respecting analytics service, to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are viewed and how the site is found. This analytics is cookieless by default and does not use advertising cookies. It may process limited technical information such as IP address (to determine country-level location), browser and device type, and the pages and links you interact with.

3. Cookies

This site uses only strictly necessary and analytics cookies. It does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work, and blocking analytics cookies simply means we see less usage data. The "strictly necessary" storage is used to keep the site functioning (for example, remembering choices).

4. How we use your data

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your data for marketing you have not asked for.

5. Where your data is processed

Your enquiry is processed by SiteFound and our service providers (including our form and analytics endpoints at sitefound.ai). Providers we use are bound by their own data-processing terms. Data may be processed in the UK and the EEA.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a customer, to deliver and support your project. After that, we delete or anonymise data we no longer have a reason to keep.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you are, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the enquiry form and we will respond within one business day.

8. Children's data

Our services are for business owners. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Third-party links

Our work examples ("Our work" section) link to websites of other organisations. This policy does not cover those third-party sites; check their own policies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always at this page with an updated "last updated" date.
